Hey guys! This week I purchased TWO new makeup products! They are both from the same company! They are the Wet n’ Wild Megaglo Illuminating Palette and the Wet n’ Wild Megaglo Makeup Conceal Stick.
I have been trying to get my hands on the Wet n’ Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder but every drugstore I go to it is completely sold out. I kept seeing the Megaglo Illuminating Palette. I got a CVS coupon at the end of my receipt (you know how long those can be) that said if you spend $10 on cosmetics get $2 off. I was inclined to use it. So I purchased the highlighter that I kept noticing (even that had only a few left). Of course you all know about my last experience with NYX Above & Beyond Concealer (seen here) I was in the market for a new concealer. I saw Wet n’ Wild had a line of concealers so I just added the Wet n’ Wild Makeup Stick in the color 809 You’re A Natural to my purchase so it would add up to $10.
I went home and tried my new purchases. I kept the eyes very simple so that you could focus on the concealer and the highlighter. The first thing I tried was the concealer. I always put concealer on before highlighter. I applied the makeup concealer stick and blended it out with a beauty blender. It reminded me of the E.L.F. All Over Cover stick. It is almost exactly like it. It applies on to the skin smoothly and is great for taking photographs. Almost as soon I blended out the Wet n’ Wild makeup stick it CREASED. So I would not wear this for a long period of time or for going out it will look like the makeup is melting off of your face but if you are spending the day taking selfies this is a great product to use. It gives you a nice glossy finish. It needs a lot of powder in order for it to stay put. As I have been trialing new concealer sticks I think ALL of them crease. Its best to have a liquid concealer.
After I applied the concealer I began highlighting. It went on very smooth. It is build-able. So you can have a glow but then you can also have a BEAM. The only thing is that the white highlight is so pigmented you almost have to tone it down by blending it out. When I applied the white it almost looked like I had a white light strike across my cheek bone. I definitely had to blend that out. If you just want a slight highlight this is not the product for you. If you are like me and want to BEAM then definitely purchase this. I cannot wait to try Wet n’ Wild’s highlighting powder, this worked so well. I want to compare the two side by side. Let me know of any liquid concealers I should try. At this point I have given up using creamy concealers. Til next time!
Just a little Snapchat fun!
