Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte…Packets?

The other day I went to Starbucks and ordered my usual Pumpkin Spice Latte. Right by the cash register I saw a packaging that said Pumpkin Spice Latte on it. Of course that caught my eye. While the barista was ringing up my order I picked it up and looked at it. It was the Starbucks VIA Instant Latte in the pumpkin spice latte flavor. I was not sure whether or not I wanted it but I said “hey why not”? I got my hot drink and the instant packets.

Later on that night I tried it in place of my nightly tea. It was so good! I was careful of not pouring too much water. When I tasted the first sip it was actually too STRONG. So I poured more water in my cup it was perfect not too strong and not too weak. It was a little strong to my mother (side note: I like my coffee a little strong) so she poured some milk into it.

It does not taste exactly like the drink made by the barista in the store. I believe the pumpkin spice flavoring is a lot stronger when you order it from the store. The coffee content was stronger in the one you just add water to but it was still amazing coffee.  You also save money! Instead of paying close to six dollars for one grande cup of coffee you are getting four cups of coffee for $6.95.

I went online to see if I could order another. I saw that it was slightly more expensive. It was $7.95 but you get five packets instead of the 4 packets in store. Once I put it in my shopping cart online I then saw that you have to pay $5.95 for standard shipping. The total would have been $13.95. This was not worth it. I will just wait until I am in Starbucks that has them. Til Next time!
